關於《偷看獅子山》
香港人走路，向來是低着頭的。地窄人稠，步履匆匆，眼睛只顧着看路，誰有閒情抬頭？然而偶爾一望，那獅子山便赫然蹲在天邊，總能撞見那座沉默的獅子山——是牠在凝視這座城，還是我們在仰望牠的生命力？百年來，多少人來了又去，樓起樓塌，唯有這獅子山依舊蹲在那裏，背負風雨與霓虹，看盡這城裡的悲歡離合，卻始終不發一言。我時常揣想，究竟是人看山，還是山看人？也許我舉起相機時，是我自以為捕捉了它的形貌，殊不知它其實早已將我收在眼底。想像是一場捉迷藏遊戲，我偷偷躲在橫街窄巷隱藏自己，數著光的刻度，偷看獅子山。
Hong Kong people often walk with their heads down. The streets are narrow and crowded, and in our hurried pace, we focus only on the ground—who has the leisure to look up? Yet occasionally, a glance upward reveals Lion Rock, standing silent on the horizon. Is it watching over the city, or are we merely admiring its vitality?
For a century, countless people have come and gone; buildings have risen and fallen, yet Lion Rock remains steadfast, enduring storms and neon lights, witnessing the city’s joys and sorrows without a word. I often wonder: Do we observe the mountain, or does the mountain observe us? When I raise my camera, I imagine I capture its form—unaware that it has long held me in its gaze. Imagination is a game of hide-and-seek; I hide myself in narrow alleys while stealing glimpses of Lion Rock.

Capturing Lion Rock through an ultra-wide-angle lens, the colossal mountainscape is condensed within the camera's frame. This first-person photographic perspective highlights the stark contrast between nature's monumentality and the human gaze, interrogating the power dynamics between observer and observed.

Lion Rock in Fragments
透過九龍四個不同地點的碎片視角，重構完整獅子山的影像。每幀影像標記經緯座標，邀請觀者按圖索驥，在城市中展開一場視覺拼圖遊戲，探索視角與空間的發現歷奇。
Reconstructing a complete image of Lion Rock through fragmented perspectives from four locations across Kowloon. Each photograph is marked with GPS coordinates, inviting viewers to embark on an urban treasure hunt - a visual puzzle that explores discoveries between perspectives and urban spaces.

獅子山海拔495公尺的高度中，最標誌性的莫過於那靈動的獅子山頭輪廓。我們以角度尺量尺獅子山頭，將感性的山形認知轉化為理性數據追蹤——在理性數據與詩意間，重新測量這座城市的視覺座標。
At 495 meters elevation, Lion Rock's most distinctive feature is its dynamic leonine profile. Using protractors, we meticulously measure its contours - transforming intuitive mountain recognition into data-driven documentation. Between empirical measurements and poetic interpretation, we recalibrate the city's visual coordinates.

《日日獅山》 Lion in the Lens
以獅子山為永恆背景，定格九龍城的市井瞬間：的士、小巴駛過馬路、路上行人低頭不語的半秒。『獅子山下』最真實的生活日常，山如靜態的註腳，見證的從不只是風景，而是山下人用生活刻出的城市紋理。
With Lion Rock as its eternal backdrop, this frame captures a quintessential Kowloon City moment: taxis and minibuses threading through streets, pedestrians lost in thought mid-stride. More than just scenery, the mountain stands as a silent witness—not to landscapes, but to the urban textures carved by ordinary lives beneath its gaze.

《模糊的獅子》 Blurred Lion
以動態模糊呈現城市節奏，行人匆匆掠過視野，鮮少駐足凝視。偶然抬頭，獅子山卻在朦朧背景中清晰矗立——靜默如城市的記憶錨點。
Motion blur renders the city's pace, as pedestrians streak past, scarcely pausing to look. Yet in a chance upward glance—Lion Rock stands sharply defined against the haze, silent as the city's memory anchor.

《窗中獅山》
Lion Rock Through The Window
透過玻璃窗的縫隙，窺看獅子山峰與維港船影相映成趣。作品縫隙中強調「窺視峰頂」（Peeking the Peak），隱藏玻璃窗縫與鏡頭之間的雙重視角，捕捉城市框景中山與海的共存——當路上窗框成為取景器，日常便成了發現之旅。
Through window cracks, Lion Rock's peaks dance with harbor boats. "Peeking the Peak" captures dual perspectives - between glass fissures and camera lenses - framing mountain-sea coexistence, where roadside window frames become viewfinders, transforming the everyday into a journey of discovery.

在香港獨特的山城景觀中，獅子山總在建築縫隙間若隱若現。幾何圖形象徵著追尋山影的過程，我們必須穿梭於不同形狀的城市前景，才能捕捉到獅子山那驚鴻一瞥的瞬間。
In Hong Kong's unique mountain-cityscape, Lion Rock peers through urban crevices. Geometric forms trace our pursuit—navigating through architectural silhouettes to capture the mountain's fleeting glimpses between concrete contours.

作者常想像：獅子山在香港的存在如同富士山之於東京。當維港海面成為鏡面，倒映出獅子山與天際線的完美對稱。這組廣角全景重新想像香港的「山」、「城」、「海」關係 ——想像當海面靜止時，我們終於看見這座城市最完整的鏡像。
The artist envisions Lion Rock's presence in Hong Kong as equivalent to Mount Fuji's significance to Tokyo. When Victoria Harbour becomes a mirror, it reflects perfect symmetry between the mountain and skyline. These panoramic shots reimagine Hong Kong's "mountain-city-sea" relationship—revealing the city's most complete mirrored essence when waters grow still.

收錄作者Den Lau近年在香港不同地點拍攝的獅子山風景，在幻燈片的方式展示，另外讀者可以在幻燈片機的玻璃後，從玻璃窗中間的圓孔中欣賞幻燈片播放，體驗「偷看獅子山」的意象。
This collection features Den Lau's recent photographs of Lion Rock taken across various Hong Kong locations, presented in a slideshow format. Viewers can peer through the circular aperture on the slide projector's glass surface to experience the slideshow—recreating the sensation of "peeking at Lion Rock."
